Why NECP?

At Northeast College Prep, we believe every student is capable of achieving at high levels. We provide a supportive, structured learning environment where students are challenged to grow academically, develop strong habits, and become confident, capable learners.

Our diverse K–8 community brings together students and families from many cultures, backgrounds, and languages. What connects us is a shared commitment to helping every student learn, grow, and succeed.

Strong Academics

Students deserve instruction that challenges them to think, build knowledge, and produce high-quality work. NECP provides rigorous, knowledge-building instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies to prepare students for success in the next grade level and beyond.

High Expectations & Support

We believe high expectations and strong support belong together. Students are challenged to do their best work, persevere when learning is difficult, and take increasing responsibility for their success. Teachers provide the instruction, feedback, structure, and support students need to meet those expectations.

More Ways to Learn

Learning at NECP extends beyond core academic subjects. Students participate in specialist classes including Spanish, Arabic, and Physical Education, giving them opportunities to explore languages and cultures, stay active, develop new skills, and discover new interests.

Building Habits for Success

Our PREP values—Pride, Responsibility, Excellence, and Perseverance—help students develop the habits they need to succeed. Students learn to take ownership of their choices, give their best effort, and keep going when learning is challenging.
