Northeast College Prep Family News - October 9th

Happy Friday! It's hard to believe next week is already MEA Break! We are excited to get to see our families next week for parent/teacher conferences. Please make sure to check in with your student's teacher if you don't already have a conference set up. Middle School families can drop in for their students.

You will also get copies of your student's fall test scores at conferences along with their ACCESS scores (English learners only) and MCA test results (grades 4-8 only) if they attended NECP last year.

Remember, we have full days of school on Monday and Tuesday followed by no school Wednesday-Friday next week.

If you haven't already, please check out our Facebook and Instagram feeds! Our team has been hard at work sharing updates there. Also make sure you download the ParentSquare app. It is our main tool for family communication at NECP and every family should have it installed on their device.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up next week! Parents of students in grades K-6 should have received communication from your child's teacher about how to sign up for a conference time. Parents of 7th and 8th grade students can drop in and visit their child's teacher any time during the conference sessions.

If you do not have a conference time yet, please reach out to your child's teacher as soon as possible!

This week, we had many celebrations at our Friday community meeting last week! We celebrated our classes with the best attendance for the week, celebrated the students who earned the Top Eagle awards for their class by earning the most positive affirmations for the week and the classes with the cleanest classrooms with the Clean Nest award!

We are still accepting applications for students to attend Northeast College Prep for the 2026-2027 school year! Applications can be found on our website and are available in English, Spanish, Somali, and Arabic.
