Thank you for your partnership as we get into the routines of the new school year. It always takes a few days to get everyone used to coming back to school again.
Thank you for making sure your students come to school every day in uniform and ready to learn. If you find that you need additional uniforms shirts, we do have them for sale in the front office.
Thank you for your quick responses to our phone calls, emails and messages when we reach out to you. We appreciate your partnership and we know that students do better when school and home work together.
If you haven't already, please check the dates below for any important events and add them to your calendar. Don't forget our family night on September 26th!

Drop Off and Pick Up Times
|
If you are dropping off your student in the morning, please drop off your students on the back side of the school using the Winter Street driveway. Students may be dropped off after 7:20 am.
If your student arrives after 7:30, please drop off at the front door and walk your student into the front office.
In the afternoon, please pick up your student on the back side of the school using the Winter Street driveway. Students should be picked up by 2:35pm.
If you are picking up your student after 2:35pm, please come to the front door and walk into the main office to pick up your student.

We understand that many of our students have cell phones, and parents rely on these phones for safety in commuting to and from school. However, cell phones can distract from learning and contribute to cyber-bullying and other interactions/uses that negatively impact our school community.
With these understandings in mind, the following cell phone policy has been created:
- Students are encouraged to leave their cell phones at home.
- If students bring a cell phone, the student will give the cell phone to a designated staff member during entrance into the school.
- Students are prohibited from using cell phones and other personal electronic communication devices during the school day.
Please note that Northeast College Prep is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged devices.

NECP is excited to partner with Every Meal again this year to offer a free weekend food program to all our students. Students who are enrolled in this program will receive a 4-5 pound bag of nutritious, nonperishable food each week. This program is open and free for all families and anyone can enroll.
If you would like for your student to receive a food bag in their backpack on Fridays, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, contact Alexandra (social worker) by texting or calling 320-515-4969.

Fall Testing Begins Next Week
|
Students in grades K-8 will begin our NWEA fall benchmark assessment on Monday. Students will be taking tests in reading, math, and science (grades 5-8 only). The results of these tests help teachers plan their instruction for the coming weeks. |

REMINDER: Now Accepting Enrollments!
|
We are still accepting applications for students to attend Northeast College Prep for the 2024-2025 school year! Applications can be found on our website and are available in English, Spanish, Somali, and Arabic.
Please share our information with friends, family, and neighbors who may be looking for a school for their student this fall!
